Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support under the guidance of healthcare practitioners.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
• Perform physical exams and health assessments.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with medical and healthcare teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant nursing experience

• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• Zulu: Conversational
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in emergency care or trauma nursing: Experience in high-pressure situations and with managing trauma patients.
• Leadership experience in a nursing role: Previous experience managing a nursing team or mentoring junior nurses.
