Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Advisor to join our thriving legal team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate law and compliance, with a strong ability to provide sound legal advice to stakeholders. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage the company’s contracts and agreements.
• Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
• Represent the company in negotiations with external parties.
• Monitor legal developments and update the management team accordingly.
• Foster relationships with external legal counsel as needed.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Further studies in Corporate Law is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience
