Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ needs and develop intervention strategies.
• Provide therapy and support in individual and group settings.
• Act as an advocate for clients to access necessary resources.
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate clients on various social services available.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure client satisfaction.
• Participate in community outreach efforts to raise awareness.
• Attend workshops and seminars for professional development.
• Support families in crisis situations through direct assistance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in social work or related field

Technical Skills

• Counseling
• Case Management

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
