• Support the buying team in curating product selections that meet customer needs and preferences.
• Regularly review sales data to identify high-performing products and recommend purchases.
• Coordinate with logistics and stock management teams to ensure timely product delivery.
• Research market trends to suggest new product categories or lines.
• Aid in the management of supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
• Prepare buying reports detailing product performance and market insights.
• Engage with the marketing team to align product launches with promotional events.
• Assist in managing the buying budget and financial forecasting.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Analytical Skills Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Negotiation Skills Competent in negotiating with suppliers for optimal pricing.
• MS Excel Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Market Research Capable of conducting research to identify trends and consumer preferences.
• Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Teamwork Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Attention to Detail Meticulous attention to detail in product selection.
• English (Fluent)

• Prior experience in retail: Experience working in retail or a similar buying role is beneficial.
• Familiarity with inventory systems: Knowledge of inventory management systems is an advantage.
