Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of auditing principles and procedures and have the ability to conduct thorough reviews of financial processes and systems. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial records and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
• Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with management to improve identified weaknesses and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of audit policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to junior staff on auditing techniques and principles.
• Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in internal auditing or related fields
