Job Description

As a Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk at Nautical Logistics Solutions, you will oversee the efficient loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring that all operations adhere to safety regulations. You will maintain accurate records of inventory, facilitating smooth operations between various departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the loading and unloading of all cargo at the port, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance standards.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and report discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with customs officials to ensure all cargo meets legal requirements.
• Assist in training new staff on cargo handling and safety procedures.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in inventory management and shipping operations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
