Job Description

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our Cape Town team. This role involves managing HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and performance management while ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in fostering a positive working environment, enhancing employee engagement, and driving human resource initiatives that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment strategy, including job advertisements and sourcing.
  • Engage in performance management discussions with employees and managers.
  • Address workplace conflicts and provide resolution strategies.
  • Create and enhance HR policies to support employee needs.
  • Implement and monitor training programmes for skill enhancement.
  • Ensure legal compliance with employee relations and labour laws.
  • Manage termination processes and conduct exit interviews.
  • Support HR administration tasks including payroll processing.
  • Promote a collaborative workplace environment through engagement activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Psychology
  • Postgraduate degree or additional HR certifications preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of HR experience in corporate settings
