Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Compliance Paralegal to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. As a key player, you'll assist in ensuring that our legal practices and business operations adhere to regulations, while providing essential support to our legal department.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Evaluate business operations and practices to identify compliance risks.
• Prepare compliance reports for management review.
• Maintain communication with internal stakeholders regarding compliance requirements.
• Support compliance audits and facilitate responses to findings.
• Assist in policy development and update existing compliance protocols.
• Ensure prompt resolution of compliance-related queries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Compliance or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in a compliance or legal support role
