We are seeking a proficient Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The successful candidate will utilize their expertise in mechanical design and analysis to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for various projects. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet all specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments on new projects.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on project status.
• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Implement improvements to existing processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor and train junior staff in mechanical engineering principles.
• Interface with clients to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
• Research and utilize emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and development
