We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in chemical processes and a passion for innovation. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing processes that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with suppliers for material specifications.
• Contribute to product development efforts.
• Implement software solutions for process management.
• Interact with sales team to address client requests.
• Conduct experiments to test new chemical compositions.
• Provide insight for scaling operations safely and effectively.
• Participate in project management activities.
• Lead incident investigations related to process failures.
• Provide technical expertise in process hazards analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• Master’s in Chemical Engineering preferred

Experience

• Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred
