We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in corporate law and compliance, with proven experience in providing legal advice and support to various stakeholders. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring our firm adheres to regulatory requirements while facilitating business operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal opinions and analyses to the executive team.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders to discuss legal implications of decisions.
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents for various corporate transactions.
• Develop strategies to mitigate legal risks for the firm.
• Engage in public speaking at legal forums and seminars.
• Create awareness of legal compliance within the organization.
• Maintain an organized record of legal documents and compliance files.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent
• Master's degree or specialization in corporate law is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in a corporate legal environment
