Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Risk Analyst to join our Durban office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing compliance strategies, and implementing risk management frameworks to ensure regulatory adherence within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing compliance systems and recommend improvements.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive database of all compliance documents and reports.
• Ensure timely filing of regulatory documents and forms.
• Participate in internal and external audits, and provide necessary documentation.
• Facilitate corrective actions in response to compliance breaches or deficiencies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed of industry best practices.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and implement action plans.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on compliance matters and issues.
• Assist in the establishment of a strong governance structure.
• Regularly update management on risk management trends and developments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification in Governance or Risk Management is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in governance, risk management, or compliance roles
