Job Description

We are looking for a Dentist who is dedicated to providing exceptional dental services in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will perform a variety of dental procedures and work with our experienced team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthetics and sedatives for patient comfort.
• Perform cosmetic dental procedures including whitening and veneers.
• Participate in continuing education programs to enhance skills.
• Work collaboratively with specialists to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor recovery and treatment success.
• Potentially mentor dental students during internships.
• Ensure the dental facility meets cleanliness and safety standards.
• Engage in patient retention strategies to build long-term relationships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry with honours
• Master's degree in Dentistry is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years in a dental practice or similar environment

• Pediatric Dentistry
• Periodontal Treatment

• Organizational Skills

Certifications

• Certification in Pain Management
• Infection Control Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
