Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Architect (Residential/Commercial) to be part of our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will lead the design and development of projects, coordinate with various teams, and provide architectural insights that drive project success. Responsibilities

• Architect innovative design solutions for various building types.
• Engage in client meetings to ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review project specifications and ensure consistency across all designs.
• Liaise with local authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Conduct structural analysis and feasibility studies for new projects.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to their professional growth.
• Utilize design software effectively for presentations and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience focusing on sustainable architecture

• SketchUp

Certifications

• Certified Green Building Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
• IsiXhosa: Basic
