Learning and Development Specialist

Job Description

As a Learning and Development Specialist in our Cape Town office, you will focus on developing and implementing strategies to enhance our employees' skills and knowledge. Your ability to engage learners and design impactful training programs will be crucial to our success.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze employee training needs through surveys and interviews.
• Create interactive training sessions using a blend of traditional and digital learning methods.
• Document and track training metrics to assess the impact of programs.
• Encourage employee participation and enthusiasm for the learning initiatives.
• Design and implement onboarding programs for new hires to accelerate their integration into the company.
• Prepare reports on training progress and provide recommendations for future training initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in training and development roles

Technical Skills

• Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Curriculum Development

Soft Skills

• Strategic Thinking
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• ATD Certification in Learning and Development
• Project Management Certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
