Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient interviews and physical examinations to diagnose medical conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications as necessary.
  • Provide preventive care and education to patients on health maintenance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage chronic conditions and provide follow-up care to patients.
  • Stay informed about advancements in medicine and healthcare best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients to improve satisfaction and health outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Medical degree (MBChB or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a General Practitioner
