We are on the lookout for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients, monitor their progress, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health management.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with training and mentoring of new nursing staff.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Registered Nurse (RN) License

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems: Experience using EHR systems for documentation and patient management will be beneficial.
