Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Veterinarian to join our Johannesburg practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners. You will be involved in diagnosing and treating a range of health issues, coupled with preventive care to enhance the lives of our furry patients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate animal health and provide appropriate treatment.
  • Lead consultations with pet owners regarding preventative care.
  • Manage emergency situations with composure and skill.
  • Participate in the development of clinic protocols and policies.
  • Assist in the training of interns and new staff.
  • Conduct outreach programs to promote animal welfare.
  • Ensure sterilization and cleanliness of all medical tools and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other veterinarians on complex cases.
  • Implement new veterinary technologies and practices.
  • Foster long-lasting relationships with pet owners through excellent service.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field
  • Specialization in a veterinary field is a plus.
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in veterinary practice.
