Aerospace Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of an Aerospace Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge in aerospace systems, materials, and the aerodynamics of aircraft design. You will be involved in all phases of engineering, from conceptual design to validation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for new aerospace products.
• Ensure that designs meet all relevant aerospace standards.
• Review and enhance existing designs for improved performance.
• Generate prototypes and conduct testing for validation.
• Document all phases of the engineering process for compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers on project requirements.
• Offer technical guidance and support to the project team.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new engineering projects.
• Implement software solutions for enhanced project management.
• Foster innovation by participating in brainstorming sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in aerospace projects
