Job Description

As a Heritage Preservation Guide at Heritage Safaris, you will educate visitors about the rich history and traditions of South Africa. You should have a passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of local heritage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct engaging and informative tours showcasing Johannesburg’s rich history.
  • Interact with visitors to promote cultural understanding and appreciation.
  • Craft informative pieces to share with guests on site.
  • Coordinate with local organizations to enhance tour offerings.
  • Manage tour logistics and ensure visitor safety.
  • Share insights on the preservation efforts for local heritage.
  • Gather and analyze feedback for tour improvements.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on local heritage.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Sociology, or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in cultural or heritage tourism
