Policy Analyst

Job Description

We are in search of a Policy Analyst who is passionate about making a difference in the public sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and be skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods. You will investigate policy issues, synthesize complex information, and provide actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Research and assess current and emerging public policy issues.
• Draft and publish policy papers based on rigorous analysis.
• Create statistical models to project the potential outcomes of policy decisions.
• Collaborate with recognized experts to validate findings and recommendations.
• Communicate research outcomes through workshops and seminars.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of both local and global policy developments.
• Assist in the preparation of funding proposals related to policy initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
• Master's degree in relevant field preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in public policy analysis

• Statistical Analysis Software (SAS)
• GIS Software
