Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Social Worker to enhance our outreach efforts in Pretoria. In this role, you will provide counseling, support, and resources to individuals and families facing difficult life circumstances. You will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive service delivery that addresses the needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Empower clients through personalized counseling and support.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the services provided and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Keep abreast of social policy changes that may affect client services.
• Network with local stakeholders to build partnerships that benefit clients.
• Assist clients in developing life skills and coping strategies.
• Serves as a liaison between clients and various community services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in direct social work practice
