Job Description

Join our team as a Community Outreach Coordinator, where you will spearhead efforts to engage with the community in Port Elizabeth. Your role will involve coordinating events, managing volunteer opportunities, and fostering relationships with community partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to increase local participation in community programs.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and programs.
  • Engage with community members through social media and public forums.
  • Identify potential funding opportunities for outreach initiatives.
  • Prepare grant proposals and funding requests for outreach projects.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Community Development or Non-Profit Management
  • Master's degree in Social Sciences is preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
