Job Description

We are actively seeking a passionate Public Health Officer to join our team in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for conducting health assessments, liaising with government bodies, and developing educational programs to raise health awareness within communities. Responsibilities

• Evaluate the effectiveness of public health programs and make recommendations for improvement.
• Work closely with epidemiologists to track disease outbreaks and propose preventative measures.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing health initiatives and outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on public health trends.
• Encourage community participation in health-related activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of public health experience preferred
