Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. You'll be involved in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries and provide troubleshooting support for IT systems.
  • Ensure that all IT equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Assist with software installations and configurations.
  • Document procedures and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to implement technology solutions.
  • Support the development of training materials for employees.
  • Assist with network configuration and maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in backup and disaster recovery processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in IT Support or related field is a plus
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in technical support
