Job Description

As an Event Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our event planning process in Johannesburg. From conceptualizing themes to managing vendors, your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure every event is a success. Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend venues, catering, and entertainment options.
  • Assist in marketing and promoting events to increase attendance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to build long-term partnerships.
  • Support the sales team with event-related inquiries and proposals.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes and enhance client satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably within a corporate environment
Technical Skills
  • Event Software (Cvent, Eventbrite)
  • Negotiation

Advantageous

  • Proficiency in Social Media Marketing: Experience in promoting events through social media channels.
