As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch tax advice and compliance services, ensuring that clients meet their tax obligations effectively. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of South African tax legislation and a proactive attitude towards client service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of tax processes and advise on necessary improvements.
• Review tax filings for accuracy and compliance.
• Research tax law changes and their implications on clients.
• Provide training to clients on tax compliance requirements.
• Develop tax planning strategies that align with business objectives.
• Ensure all tax-related documentation is maintained accurately.
• Prepare and present tax reports to management and clients.
• Identify opportunities for tax credits and deductions.
• Engage with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
• Additional qualifications in Taxation are preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in tax planning or compliance
