We are seeking a skilled Pet Groomer to join our dedicated team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling various breeds and providing top-quality grooming services, including bathing, clipping, and nail trimming. Responsibilities

• Handle pets with care and respect, ensuring their safety.
• Prepare pets for grooming by brushing out knots and matting.
• Create a welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service for all clients.
• Work closely with team members to provide exceptional service.
• Participate in training opportunities to improve grooming skills.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pet First Aid/CPR certification is a plus

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in a grooming or pet service role

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment
• Pet Care Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Time Management

Certifications

• Certified Master Groomer (CMG)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to train junior groomers: Mentor and guide new team members in grooming practices.
• Experience with mobile grooming services: Familiarity with providing grooming services in mobile units.
