Job Description

We are searching for a passionate DEI Consultant to lead our diversity and inclusion initiatives in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to foster an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.

Responsibilities

  • Lead DEI-related training sessions and workshops to increase awareness and understanding.
  • Assess the organization's current state in terms of diversity and inclusion metrics.
  • Design and implement strategies for recruitment and retention of diverse talent.
  • Advise senior leadership on DEI strategies and their impact on business performance.
  • Create and maintain DEI communication strategies that engage all stakeholders.
  • Track and report progress on DEI initiatives to senior management.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance the organization's DEI efforts.
  • Manage and support employee resource groups, ensuring their objectives are met.
  • Conduct regular assessments of organizational culture to ensure inclusivity.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Sociology, or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in DEI consulting or organizational development roles
