Job Description

The Environmental Science Teacher at our organisation will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging course content at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will facilitate practical learning experiences and inspire students to engage in conservation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Foster an inclusive and diverse learning environment.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Conservation Science, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE).
• Ph.D. in Conservation Science or related field is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching conservation science at the tertiary level.

Technical Skills

• GIS software (e.g. ArcGIS, QGIS)
• Data analysis software (e.g. R, SPSS)
• Field research and data collection

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with online or blended learning delivery.: Familiarity with educational technology and virtual teaching platforms.
