Microwave Engineer

Job Description

The Microwave Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining microwave communication systems. This role involves collaborating with other engineers and technical professionals to ensure high-quality performance and reliability of the systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in microwave engineering and be adept at problem-solving within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microwave link solutions for voice and data transmission.
• Perform feasibility studies for new microwave link installations.
• Provide technical support for microwave link maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the Project Management team for project execution.
• Stay up-to-date with newest technologies to improve telecommunications solutions.
• Monitor performance and recommend system enhancements.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Train and mentor junior engineers on microwave systems and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering
• Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in microwave engineering or related technical field

Technical Skills

• Experience with microwave radio link design and operation
• Experience in microwave network optimization and troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Strong teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in communication

Advantageous

• Experience in microwave backhaul network planning and design: Hands-on experience in designing and implementing microwave backhaul solutions.
• Experience in RF engineering principles: Solid understanding of RF technologies and antenna design.
