Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Factory Operations Lead to spearhead our manufacturing processes in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production activities, ensuring quality control, and leading a team of dedicated professionals to optimise operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the production workforce and delegate tasks to ensure optimal output.
  • Develop and execute operational plans in alignment with company goals.
  • Continuously improve manufacturing processes and workflows.
  • Ensure timely delivery of production targets while maintaining quality.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in budget preparation and adhere to budgetary constraints.
  • Engage in problem-solving to address operational challenges.
  • Coordinate training programs for staff to enhance skills and productivity.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • Advanced degree is an asset

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing
