Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Event Planner to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, from conception to execution. You will collaborate with clients to create unforgettable experiences while coordinating logistics, vendors, and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and oversee a wide range of events from corporate gatherings to weddings.
  • Liaise with catering teams to ensure quality food and service at events.
  • Utilize project management software to track event details and progress.
  • Recruit and manage event staff, including volunteers and part-time workers.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Event Management or equivalent
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in event coordination

  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
