Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Site Inspector to oversee construction projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will ensure that all activities comply with building regulations and safety standards while providing comprehensive oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections to verify the quality and safety of construction work.
  • Document and report non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Liaise with local authorities to ensure compliance with municipal codes.
  • Review contract documents and plans to identify compliance issues.
  • Monitor construction crews to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Attend project meetings and provide input on inspections and compliance.
  • Support project managers in tracking construction progress.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in construction processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant construction roles
