Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated Psychologist to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will provide essential psychological services, including assessments, therapy, and counseling for a variety of clients. Responsibilities

• Conduct therapeutic assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
• Engage in therapy sessions while applying various psychological techniques.
• Document therapeutic processes and client feedback diligently.
• Participate in continuous professional development to enhance skills.
• Conduct crisis intervention services for urgent mental health issues.
• Engage clients' family members in therapy sessions when suitable.

Requirements

Education

• Master's in Clinical Psychology
• PsyD is preferable

Experience

• 5 years of clinical psychology experience preferred

• Behavioral Therapy

• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Psychological First Aid Certification
• Membership in the Psychological Society of South Africa (PsySSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience with Group Therapy: Practical experience in leading group therapy sessions.
