Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Durban. In this role, you will be engaged in designing, developing, and overseeing various mechanical systems and products. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met while adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials.
• Implement efficient practices to improve performance.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Document engineering processes and create design specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles
