Urban Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Aesthetician to join our team in Cape Town. As an Aesthetician, you will provide an array of skincare treatments, educate clients on skin health, and ensure a memorable experience for every client.

Responsibilities

• Assess urban infrastructure needs and recommend improvements.
• Design and implement urban development policies that promote sustainability.
• Engage with the public to gather input and address concerns regarding urban planning initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of urban plans over time.
• Provide expert guidance during planning commission meetings and public hearings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in urban planning

Technical Skills

• Urban Design Software
• Regulatory Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Urban Planner (CUP)
• Environmental Consultant Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of transport planning: Understanding of urban transport systems and how they influence city growth.
• Proficiency in another language: Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is a plus.
