Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our warehouse in Durban. This includes managing staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of warehouse staff and operations.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to in the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock levels.
  • Facilitate communication between departments regarding logistics.
  • Use warehouse management systems for tracking and reporting.
  • Involve in strategic planning of warehouse layout and design.
  • Monitor employee performance and implement feedback.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate procurement.
  • Initiate problem-solving techniques to address operational issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or logistics
