Job Description

As a Public Works Inspector, you will ensure that infrastructure projects are constructed according to government regulations and quality standards. You will closely monitor construction activities to safeguard public interest and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of construction sites to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
• Evaluate construction plans to ensure they meet all necessary requirements.
• Provide support and guidance to construction teams for high-quality workmanship.
• Resolve disputes and issues that arise during construction projects.
• Create reports detailing the progress and any outstanding issues.
• Manage a team of construction inspectors and offer training and support.
• Liaise with local authorities on compliance matters.
• Document any non-conformance and lead corrective actions.
• Promote safety protocols across all construction activities.
• Keep updated on new construction techniques and materials.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management preferred.

Certifications

• Professional Engineer Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Road Construction Experience: Experience in inspecting road construction projects.
