Job Description

As a Door Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and fitting doors in various residential and commercial settings. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction with every project.

Responsibilities

• Lead door installation projects from start to finish with a focus on quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues that arise on-site.
• Educate customers on door maintenance and care post-installation.
• Assist in managing project timelines and schedules with the team.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
• Conduct site assessments before installation to ensure proper planning.
• Analyze and report any health and safety concerns at job sites.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or equivalent
• Higher qualification in carpentry or construction is beneficial

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in door fitting or carpentry preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in power tools

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages
