Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Occupational Therapist to make a difference in the lives of our clients in Bloemfontein. You will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, formulating treatment plans, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and create customized rehabilitation programs.
• Facilitate therapy sessions aimed at achieving individual goals.
• Collaborate with occupational therapy aides to optimize service delivery.
• Provide ongoing education to patients and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and outcomes.
• Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Master's degree in Health Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in clinical settings

• Clinical Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Occupational Therapy Registration Board Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Geriatric Patients: Experience in providing therapy services to elderly clients.
• Knowledge of Assistive Technologies: Familiarity with adaptive devices to aid client function and independence.
