Dredge Operator Supervisor

Job Description

Currently, we are on the lookout for a Dredge Operator Supervisor to lead and manage dredging operations within our projects across South Africa. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in operating dredging machinery and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to guide a team of operators.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily dredging operations and manage crew assignments.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and maintained properly.
• Monitor dredging operations against project specifications.
• Implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Act as a liaison between the dredging team and upper management.
• Ensure all operations are aligned with environmental regulations.
• Provide feedback for staff performance evaluations.

Requirements

Education

• Engineering degree or similar qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in dredging operations with supervisory responsibilities.
