Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Cape Town. You will be responsible for managing logistics, inventory control, and supplier relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain practices. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in supply chain management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supply chain development and manage logistics functions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies to optimize operations.
• Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions about inventory and logistics.
• Ensure operational compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
• Facilitate effective communication across departments to enhance supply chain functions.
• Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction through improved delivery services.
• Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in strategic planning and budgeting for supply chain operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or similar field
• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within supply chain operations

• Supply Chain Optimization

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM)
• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
