Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our vibrant team in Durban. The ideal candidate will spearhead the organization and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate functions to large-scale weddings, ensuring exceptional experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and prepare layouts for event setups.
• Work closely with marketing teams to promote events and manage ticketing or registrations.
• Draft and send invitations, manage RSVP lists, and ensure guest communications are handled professionally.
• Assist with event marketing and social media promotions for upcoming events.
• Manage inventory of event supplies and order materials as needed.
• Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements when necessary.
• Foster a positive and team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
• Additional certifications in event planning or project management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in event planning or related roles

• Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
