Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and components, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and reliable. You'll work on a variety of projects, collaborating with other engineers and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system prototypes and perform troubleshooting activities.
• Engage with suppliers for sourcing electrical components.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement process in projects.
• Prepare detailed project documentation and reports.
• Lead project meetings to ensure alignment with objectives.
• Identify risks and devise mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Train staff on electrical safety and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• BTech in Electrical Engineering or related qualification
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of practical experience in design and implementation of electrical systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in MATLAB: Ability to use MATLAB for simulations and analysis of electrical systems.
