Veterinary Pathologist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Veterinary Pathologist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing animal diseases through laboratory testing and will work closely with veterinarians to develop effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform autopsies on animals to determine cause of death.
• Establish and implement laboratory protocols and safety standards.
• Engage with government agencies on animal disease outbreaks and control measures.
• Contribute to client education on animal health issues.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Specialization in Veterinary Pathology preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in veterinary pathology with lab management experience.
