Tank Carpenter

Job Description

The Tank Carpenter will play a pivotal role in the construction and repair of tanks for various industrial applications. We seek individuals who are adept in carpentry techniques, and are detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install tanks using various materials and techniques.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance.
• Provide feedback on process improvements and efficiencies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Work with other teams to coordinate project tasks effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12
• Completed apprenticeship in carpentry is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in construction or carpentry, specifically tank-related

Technical Skills

• Welding Skills
• Knowledge of Safety Regulations

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• Carpentry Trade Test Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional certifications in welding: Ability to perform welding tasks related to tank constructions.
