We are in search of a passionate Event Planner to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills and a flair for creativity, ensuring that each event is not only well-planned but also a joy to experience. In this role, you'll liaise with clients to understand their vision, manage logistics, and coordinate with vendors to bring events to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning meetings with clients to define objectives and expectations.
• Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists.
• Supervise staff during events and oversee set-up and tear-down.
• Collect feedback from clients and attendees to improve future events.
• Establish strong relationships with vendors and industry professionals.
• Stay updated on local venue options and event technology advancements.
• Create engaging presentations and proposals for clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management or Hospitality
• Additional certifications in Project Management are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in event planning or management

Technical Skills

• Social Media Marketing

Certifications

• Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
