Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Administrator to support our legal team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and a passion for legal processes, ensuring smooth operations within our firm.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys with case management and legal documentation.
  • Communicate with clients and outside counsel as needed.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filed and organized.
  • Keep track of important deadlines and coordinate schedules.
  • Assist in document discovery and production.
  • Prepare billing and expense reports for legal services.
  • Help maintain the firm’s compliance program.
  • Assisting in staff training and development initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of legal administration experience preferred
