As an Event Planner at Creative Events Co., you'll play a crucial role in orchestrating unforgettable experiences. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of events, ensuring they align with client goals.
• Create detailed project plans outlining all aspects of the event.
• Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate catering, entertainment, and technical support for events.
• Analyze event performance and provide strategic guidance for improvements.
• Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance event planning skills.
• Oversee event marketing and branding strategies.
• Supervise event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations.
• Adapt to unexpected challenges and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure all event materials are prepared and available in advance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in high-profile event planning

Technical Skills

• Event Management Software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite)
• Contract Negotiation

Soft Skills

• Leadership Skills

Certifications

• Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
• Professional in Catering and Events (PCE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
